Manchester City appears to be looking for a winger after losing Riyad Mahrez to Ah Ahli. Not the only Premier League team is still searching for wide attackers. Chelsea is also looking for a winger and has recently been connected to Mohammed Kudus. According to recent reports, Michael Olise of Crystal Palace is being watched by both clubs. According to Fabrizio Romano, Olise reportedly has a release clause of just £35 million, which is luring both City and Chelsea.

Micahel Olise joined Manchester City or Chelsea
Romano adds that until the clubs receive an update on the French U21 International’s injury, any efforts to sign him will be put on hold. Michael Olise’s participation in the Euro U21 tournament was cut short due to a thigh injury he sustained against Norway.
It would be a sort of reunion if Micahel Olise joined Manchester City or Chelsea. When he was younger, Olise spent seven years at Chelsea’s academy. at 2016, he spent one season at Manchester City’s academy. Although Arsenal was Olise’s first academy club, it was Reading where he initially gained notoriety on the professional level.
Michael Olise scored seven goals for Reading during the 20/21 EFL Championship season, but more significantly, he also recorded 12 assists. During the summer of 2021, Crystal Palace expressed interest in Olise as a result of his ascent. Olise’s release clause from Reading was activated by Crystal Palace for slightly over £8M.
With 11 assists, Michael Olise and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka shared third place in the Premier League last year. Olise feels like a great deal at £35 million for a 21-year-old. If Crystal Palace quickly tried to start new contract negotiations to remove the clause from his contract, it wouldn’t exactly be shocking.
Michael Olise, who is already a well-known figure in the Premier League, may soon need to make a choice about his international future. Olise is a quadruple national who can represent Algeria, Nigeria, France, and England.
Wilfried Zaha and Michael Olise, both forwards, might depart Crystal Palace this summer.
